As part of the CORE program, we offer healthy lifestyle classes on Mondays at 5:30pm. The topics include Understanding Health, Stress Management, The 80/20 Rule, Educated People Make Educated Decisions and even a Healthy Cooking Class!

THE FACILITY

Our state-of the-art facility supports clients looking to improve their overall health and reduce their risk of having a heart attack or prevent a second heart attack from occurring. Our exercise program utilizes treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, a water rower, free weights and CYBEX strength training machines. Our cardiac fitness specialist ensures that all major muscle groups are targeted, and develops a custom exercise program based on your specific heart disease risk factor(s).


Meet "Bee”

Meet Bethany Thurlow, aka "Bee"! Bee is super excited to be working as CORE's full time cardiac fitness trainer, and takes great pleasure in creating positive impacts on peoples' lives through our program. She brings her own personal touch to CORE, with advances in fitness testing, training methods, tailored exercise prescriptions and personal training sessions. She also has a regular series on our Facebook page called “Bee’s Corner”, where she offers heart-healthy advice about a variety of exercise techniques.

I heard about CORE from the HR Dept. where I am employed.

When I joined CORE I did not know that it would be the first step in making decisions to live a healthier life style which I look forward to continuing. CORE offers you the tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle which is not hard but you must be committed. It is the start of you feeling great! It is not all about being slim though you can work towards that – really it is about your health.
I have been coming to CORE for 1 year and I have been so active and inspired to try new things in my life because my weight and later because of my bad health. Having been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and Pulmonary Hypertension in 2010, I was looking for something to make myself stronger after losing 30lbs. CORE was the answer. My health has improved and I have goals and work each day to live a more healthy lifestyle with lots of new friends of the same mindset.
